Today’s photo spot was the valley town of Lauterbrunnen - seriously one of the most scenic spots in all of Switzerland. Can’t be beat for beauty - a deep canyon carved by glaciers, with vertical rock walls on both sides and many waterfalls cascading down the sides.

The Aareschlucht is a narrow gorge where the Aare River narrows to where you can reach across it. This becomes a big river that eventually joins the Rhine. They have built a walkway along side the gorge and also a tunnel that parallels it. The whole gorge is about 1 km long.
