why does it always happen like this?! bc same, i also had to replace the air conditioner before summer (late last year it’s winter here now), replace the main part of the engine in my car, & my dishwasher has been broken for months which keeps getting put off bc more important things keep breaking

i was literally saying this yesterday!! our houses are built to keep heat out so we don’t die in summer but then we freeze in winter!! it’s like the opposite to the uk and why what’s a mild temp for us, for them in summer sucks because their houses trap the heat 😭

same and that’s why i persevered too because everyone raves about it. so glad i did it really does get so good, lmk how you feel when you get into book 2!! it was an instant change for me i couldn’t put it down

yeah it dragging wasn’t the issue with the first book for me, it was the themes. hard to read, most days i could only do a chapter at a time then need to put it down. but i’m glad i kept going!! those covers are gorgeous btw

i get you, it took me 3 weeks to read the first book but then less than a week to read the last two. the themes are a lot and i had a hard time with it but if you can, i really recommend keep going!! it gets soooo good in book 2!!
