If you put more than two humps in camel case then you are rebelling against God and nature.
4'33''? It's kind of an obscure song. You probably haven't heard it.
Boxer, brainy, acrobat, blond.
I made a pot of blue moro beans from the farmer's market, just cooked in a pot for a couple of hours with onion and garlic and thyme and oregano and cumin and pepper, and finished with tomato paste and lime juice and salt, and it was very tasty.
Engels is overrated as an actor, at least Marx did all his own stunts.
My preference is a small zipped tote bag under my seat, and a larger zipped tote bag with my medicine, CPAP machine, and other electronics in the overhead bin. If I have more than that, I am with you on preferring to check it.
Today in social justice toolkit:
A dilemma action is a strategic action that forces your opponent into a lose-lose situation.
You've given them only bad options.
I give some examples
& then we talk about how to design them.
This one's pretty important.
Read and share, please?
For my niece's "black tie preferred" wedding, I bought a custom-made midnight blue tuxedo, a vintage silk top hat, a fancy wooden cane, and sequined blue shoes.
I would parse it as "They would really appreciate it if I made an effort to be fancy, and it's a big day for them so I will make the effort, but if for some reason it would be difficult to dress up I would sound them out to find out how upset they would be if I whiffed."
Melville: listen
Melville: if there's one thing that i know in this world with 100% certainty
Melville: a truth i know as sure as day follows night
Melville: not an iota of doubt in my heart
Melville: it's that whales are fish
This advocacy is harmful. It may seem like there’s little risk in setting crosses free but they’re an invasive species, set a few free and pretty soon you’ll have a whole wild herd.
Comic. I’m at my desk, leaning over to the doorway, saying “Hey! Foghorn! Foghorn Leghorn! Get in here!” Foghorn Leghorn is walking past the doorway, “Boy, I tell ya, I tell ya, not so loud, boy. What, I say, I say, what d’ya want?” Next panel, I’m gesturing to my computer. “How do I find that really good manga you recommended? It’s an anime now? I keep getting Halloween costumes.” Foghorn leans over my chair, “well, boy, I say, I say, you ain’t typin the entire title.” Last panel, I turn around- “you said ‘witch hat.’ Foghorn gets in my face- “open your ears, boy!! ‘Witch Hat Atelier, I tell ya! I tell ya ‘Atelier,’ I tell ya’”
How I’ve Been Pronouncing It (Feat. Foghorn Leghorn, my… roommate?)
I was rattled by "the body of water between Florida and the South American coast".
He only appears in the story ironically.
I am at the game store with Stepkid for the MTG pre-release, and the dude next to us is informing his friend that he bought an artisanal ice maker that makes two perfect cubes every eight hours.
A flatscreen display on a "smart" water fountain, demanding to be reconnected to the internet.
In 1999, I was playing a decker in Shadowrun, and tried to distract a guard by hacking a water fountain to overflow, and my GM said "why would a water fountain be on the network? That's fucking stupid. No you can't try."
Well it's 2026 and I just want you to know, Phil, that I FUCKING CALLED IT!
Apparently it's illegal in California to dress in a bear suit, film yourself destroying a luxury car, and file an insurance claim. www.sfgate.com/bayarea/arti...
If you count each day of Christmas separately, that's twelve more wars that ended in complete victory!
Just read a new (to me) comic, Lavender Jack, which is the best comic I've read in a long while.

This one's educational!
Feels important to uplift Rep Pressley's leadership. She puts in a lot of work on issues that others often don't see as a priority. I've appreciated her anti-criminalization work over the years. She's a worker.
A tweet saying "this is getting good!" with a picture of Trump holding a bunch of Uno cards facing outward and the text "We hold all the cards".
Team: Is it a good strategy to hold all the cards in Uno?
I hadn’t heard of the term, either in its original form or as appropriated slang. This essay is educational, especially to anyone who doesn’t understand why people get worked up about cultural appropriation.

I've got the perfect guy.
If you also have barricades or obstructions preventing you from accessing some of these, you have blocked blocks. If you're selling stackable units for creating such barricades, those are blocked block blocks.
One of the stats that sticks with me, though a bit outdated now, is that the billionaire lifestyle with mansions on every continent, yachts and private planes, costs a couple billion to set up and about $50M/year to maintain. Beyond that it gets very difficult to spend more money on personal stuff.
This has been a public service announcement from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
