Little candy: find your Vo2 Max estimate on all outdoor workout summaries that recorded it!
Update, play around, give feedback🙏
thank you, Steve <3 Really appreacite the support and kindness. 🙏
We love giving context to data as that is what we believe makes is actually useful! We have done it in the past with our sleep analysis, and we are doing it again with upcoming cardio fitness.
four screens of cardio fitness feature in gentler streak. a lovely heart shaped visual reflecting the state of your vo2 max and its trend. below is a description of the trend "effort is showing up" with a short description. In other screens are three tappable charts with sleeping heart rate, activity duration and steps - daily average, where you can compare those with your vo2max trajectory.
... and we have a release date! Our biggest 2026 update thus far is around the corner. Mark this coming Monday as the day when Cardio fitness update will (likely) hit the App Store. 🤞
NEW BETA 🧡
v 5(621)
It took some time, was more complicated than expected, but it' here: our interpretation of how vo2max estimate can contribute to better understanding of our fitness.
Please, read the What's New, follow the rules and let us know your thoughts!
Thanks.
This is how it looks when we *think* we have done something right, then we put it in the app, and all the wonderful f-ups we have done come to life... :D Yes, yes.. going back to the drawing board..
J Jamie d to me - Thank you, you now have another permanent supporter. :) Your apps have made quite an impact. I've tracked hundreds of workouts now, many of which I wouldn't have done if it wasn't for the Gentler Streak activity path. I'm also looking forward to spending more time with The Outsiders as I transition from wellness fitness to athletic fitness. M Best regards, -Jamie Sent from my iPhone
Happy friday to all Jamies out there! :)
Creating features that are not just copy paste, but actually make sense and are in the end helpful to the person using them, can be painful. But (in parts) also fun! :D

A screenshot of a mobile app with fitness data, indicating moderate readiness at 61% for the day, with a training load ratio of 0.65. There are various metrics across the bottom like heart rate, hrv, temperature, breathing rate, and blood oxygen.
Excited to see a new performance-focused app from @gentler.app!
