They’d be silly to not want to learn about classic games.

Of course there’s an audience for this sort of stuff, @retrogamermag.bsky.social has been running for 22 years now.
I’ll definitely watch it but I’m expecting a very safe interpretation. Even having a family member playing him feels pretty weird.
Apparently the original draft did have the claims in but they were taken out. Always suspected this would be a one-sided doc, but the Queen and Elton John ones were very similar in that respect.
😂
I guess they’re sticklers for details. Even small ones 😂
Because INART only has the licence for first film apparently.
Could be a long wait for an INART Smeagol/Gollum two pack so got this while I wait. And yes, they did hide a surprise under his loin cloth.
Where is it?
The craftmanship on this is lovely. So glad I grabbed it instead of just the Nazgul
Well that Street Fighter trailer was certainly something. I’m not sure what, but it was definitely something.
I don’t normally share stuff that publisher’s send us but this t-shirt that came out to launch the physical release of Clear River Games Toaplan collections is pretty rad.
If you like the idea of a Scrabble Roguelike, I can heartily recommend Beyond Words by GoldenEye alumni Steve Ellis and @drdoak.bsky.social it’s great fun.
You can’t have Gandalf without Legolas.
Sorry 😆
I don’t buy many 4K movies nowadays, but I will buy Hard Boiled, one of the greatest action films ever made.
It’s outrageous. Worth every penny (to me at least).
I mentioned I had a grail on the way and here he is.
#inart Gandalf is the most impressive 1/6 scale figure I’ve ever seen. I need to sort his hair and clothes out but I’m floored by how good he currently looks. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Always nice to see the OT Star Wars getting Hot Toys love.
Stand By Me is one of my favourite films, but I was 12 when it came out, so I never got to see it until VHS. 40 years on and I finally saw it at the cinema with my daughter. I’m also lucky that the friends I had when I was 12 are still my good friends today (one of them gifted me this for my 50th).
Screamer is a great series so I will be looking forward to watching this later.
😂
Apologies, I meant penultimate game 😂
Just finished @bloggospow.bsky.social latest video. Entertaining as always. And Bloggo’s quite right in calling out the soundtrack for the last game, it’s utterly superb.

What a great idea this is. Going to watch it now.
This is a cracking issue and features @martcarroll.bsky.social on cover feature duties. Don't miss it.
I've not been in the 1/6 community long, but one thing I've learnt is that if you have the cash available, there's always someone willing to part with a figure you're after.
That certainly happened, but not in this instance (to my knowledge). I remember one company kicking off so much about a 6/10 that three members of the team (including the editor) had to play it to all agree that it wasn't a fantastic game.
In a weird position where a low review score I gave for a popular game is mentioned by the developer we've interviewed. I don't think that's come up in the last 21 years of editing the mag!
Thank you. If I post who is turning up tomorrow it will give it away so I’ll leave it until the grand reveal 😂
