The Oily Dephts is the crossover between Iron Lung and Threshold I did not know I needed.
A short but intense atmospheric horror game, with a simple but neat gameplay (well-oiled machinery, dare I say lol).

I've only just scratched the surface of this game, but I can guarantee that I'm going to have a great time playing it, and that I'm going to savor every moment spent playing it.

The choices we make have an impact (at least they seem to have an impact, as we are told at the beginning).
And while The Long Dark forced us to constantly stuff ourselves with food so we wouldn't starve (to such an extent that it was laughable), food and warmth become mechanics that...

The atmosphere is wonderfully mysterious, and the environments, although gigantic, never leave us feeling lost.
Everything in this game is well done. Whereas Firewatch blocked us at every obstacle, our character here can step over them and even climb walls (if they have handholds)...

As a huge fan of Firewatch and The Long Dark, I was eagerly awaiting this game, and I can already tell you that I'm really enjoying the journey so far.
The landscapes are beautiful, the characters are endearing, and the voice acting is excellent (special mention to the drone)...

There was no way I was going to miss this, so probably you wouldn't either.
