The other thing that confuses me is why everyone else who isn’t trans is basically Gay without fail. (This probably has more to do with the Furry fandom’s 84% male population) but like, I don’t attract the str8’s very often. 30 years of robot art, and I have nothing in common with my fellow hets.

Academically its just interesting. We went from “no one is trans” to “everyone is trans” in 20-30 years. (This is hyperbole btw) Is it a robot thing? Do trans folks identify with bots more? Are heteronormative people not into robot art as much?

I actually have a serious question. Why is every artist on my watchlist trans? Or the people watching me, a huge chunk are trans. Everyone has a trans flag in their bio. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s i had exactly one trans Friend in high school. The art I do is not really trans-coded is it?

2) the scales will be off- either the human is much bigger than normal, or the plane is much smaller than normal. This art is heavily romanticized for emotional effect and doesn’t seek to address the realities of things like 300 meter long warships (man vs environment) or 1000 meter space craft.

Romantic scale* is a ratbatism. I have a really tough time drawing people interacting with machines at true scale in romantic or friendship situations because of the reality of how big these things are. Its harder to show emotions at such size extremes without sequential comics. 1)
