Did you know? It is so difficult to regulate chemicals in the U.S. that the EPA did not feel in the 1970s that there was sufficient evidence of the threat of leaded gasoline to the public health to ban it. Leaded gas was only banned because it interfered with catalytic convertors, NOT health effects
