I’m so sorry. I got rear ended a couple of years ago and still tense up at intersections.

Watching Cherry 2000 (1987) and thinking about all the stories where men make sexy robots who do their bidding and wondering if there are any stories that flip the genders.

Any films where women make sexy men-bots who pick up after themselves and have vibrating penises?

Ripper Street: Season Three DVD Review: Risen from Cancellation - Cinema Sentries A social media campaign brought it back and it was well worth the fight.

Going through my old reviews and it is so weird how many things I watched and wrote about and have no recollection of watching them. Like I don't remember watchng Ripper Street at all yet here is a review of its third season.

My house is currently filled with 15 year olds gleefully singing along to Hamilton.

Gotta love it.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era

This was my daughter's choice. It features horse girls doing a lot of racing. And I mean a lot.

Awesome ’80s in April: Poltergeist III (1988) The first sequel to Poltergeist did quite well, easily enough for the powers that be to want to make another film, but most of the cast had had enough. But when did a little thing like 80 percent o…

Poltergeist III (1988)

Better than the second one. I love the high rise setting and all the mirrors.

A silly but fun 1980s b-movie.
A terrific Italian crime drama.
A silly but fun erotic thriller.
A great LA neonoir.

Such a fun movie. I assume you know but in case you don’t they remade it as Mogambo (1953) with Grace Kelly and Ava Gardner.

Not as fun or racy (damn production code) but still worth watching if you haven’t seen it.

My Dentist’s Murder Trial Adultery, false identities, and a lethal sedation: a baroque courtroom drama unfolds in upstate New York.

Apparently, this story inspired the show.

Caught the final episode of DTF St. Louis this afternoon. What a weird, wild show. I'm not sure I liked it but it was definitely different and interesting.
