3. What If? 2 by @xkcd.com
A very enjoyable trip through some ludicrous questions about things that never will/never should happen but we need answers on regardless...
In a world where science is increasingly ignored for likes and shares I am liking and sharing this wonderful book.

"Believe in truth"
Its a quick read but a devastating read as the author talks the reader though exactly how we are learning nothing from history.
Loosely based on Trump and how fascism can/is sneaking in through the back door.

1. The Power of Geography by Tim Marshall
A really interesting dive into various countries and their histories/futures in the context of the physical geography they were dealt with.
I particularly enjoyed the chapter on Iran.
Seems an apt read in the current climate.
Recommend!
In a desperate attempt to find something to post about and to find a way to tackle the time vampire that is my phone I have set myself a goal to read more books in 2026
I'm going to post about them all here and pretend like people are interested...
I saw Gene and Sleeper in 1995 and saw both of them again last month.
30 years!
Both still brilliant as well.
