"there has been a fantastic campaign by opposition to undermine him"

uh nope. Just all the stuff he's chosen to do with his massive majority.

Absolutely deluded the lot of them.

Eleven more asylum hotels have been returned to communities nationwide, with further closures coming soon as the Home Office ends their use for good.

Some nice neutral language from the home office.

I'm so glad the grownups are in charge.

You can always rely on a centrist being witty.

Well.

There's clearly different kinds of mistakes.

I'm not going to scream at someone for accidentally dropping something.

I am also not going to pat a PM on the back for doing something obviously good that he took so long to do, after sacking several of his own MPs. It wasn't a momentary lapse.

Even though it tells me the time at the end of each run its definitely only 2 minutes ago so I've definitely only been playing for 20 minutes?

I voted for them.

I'm not "anti Labour". I'm anti the things they've chosen to do.

But yes. You don't get much credit for undoing your own mistakes. That's life.

I read your comment first and assumed it was about Sir Keir.

Nobody cares because they haven't done those things Tom.

Oh absolutely if we're opening the floor to other govt lies!

The one affecting me is "we are listening to disabled people in a review so everything is fine and we're nice".

They've already started the cuts, and you don't need a review to work out if taking money from people harms them.

Liars.

disabled and trans people.

It's not a "comms issue". They're continuing austerity and making lives miserable.

A labour party should be getting no prizes for punishing migrants.

The 2 child benefit cap took 18 months and fighting their backbenches so it's bizarre to give them credit for it.

Waiting lists are only down because they've booted people off.

You've forgotten to mention their attacks on the

Labour are quite happy about it because it means people aren't talking about the policies they're actually enacting.

Gah!

Why is the media acting like these plans are imminent?

I swear Reform ideas get more press than actual Labour plans that are actually happening.

His lie of "it's everyone's fault but mine, I knew nothing" that he's been repeating in various forms for months now.

His career should be imploding. It's well deserved.

Who "spanks them" for lying then?

Because Starmwr has-been lying about Mandleson for ages now, and nothing has happened.

He's welcome to some good faith when he wants to stop lying.

What are the good reasons?

It seems sub-optimal to have a system that protects liars.

No he's definitely a cult.

Not just today.

Hotel rioters "care about women and girls"
Flag raisers "care about the community"
Reform "just care about illegal immigration"
Musk "cares about free speech"
Rowling "cares about equality and women"

Etc etc

They're lying, but somehow it's not ok to call them on it.

I love living in the world were calling a liar a liar is a worse crime than lying repeatedly.

agreed.

My MP votes with the whip everytime because he's a junior minister.

The idea we've got local representation in a very whipped party system is a bit of a myth, so it's not unreasonable to say that people vote for the party/leader not the local candidate.

The constant terrible lies are painful.

If this was a kid explaining how they didn't break a window whilst stood with their football you'd be laughing in their face at the audacity.

They're acting like they hired a random unknown and then found out he was a monster. But everyone knew that already.
