I just realized today that my dad never talks about his mother’s side of the family. Just found out his last living uncle died at 94. I have never met this man. I’m 43.

The changes were the way in which the church service happened. They initially had devotion with the deacons. The pastor changed it to praise and worship with the choir.
They had all those things. They decided they wouldn’t follow them. The bylaws said he had to be voted in and voted out. They ignored it and went to court to kick him out. The judge told them to follow the bylaws and vote. The vote was 75% in favor of the pastor.
Next Sunday will be interesting because they come to our house to give Granny communion. I’m assuming it will be much smaller because most of the deacons were the trouble makers. I’m certain Granny will be happy to see the pastor though.
There was no stream. They did say it was a good service. None of the trouble makers showed up and the pastor will be requesting that they turn in their keys.
