It is so crazy windy at my house on a hill, the windows rattling and the wind howling. Then I went down into the village (where it's way more sheltered) and it was just normal windy. And I felt silly for hunkering at home all day. 🥶

One reason (I think) Americans may write the date this way is that we say aloud "May fourth" never "fourth May" when speaking.

When I moved to a different country and heard someone actually say, out loud, "fourth May" I was very surprised.

E. I would probably assume they were left-handed? Or that it was just more comfortable for them on the right hand for some reason.
