Just want to mention there are users collecting misleading block lists. @haymarketatdawn.bsky.social has added me to the "Likely to use all the slurs " moderation list. I do not use slurs, but based on my posts it is likely the list editor(s) just don't like my critical take on Elon Musk and SpaceX.

Meet Gauss: Our in-house designed and built electric propulsion system.
Designed for high volume production to meet constellation demand. The production line is already established, ready to pump out 200+ Gauss propulsion systems every year.

Another multi-launch deal for Electron πππ We've added 3x new launches to the manifest for iQPS to deploy their QPS-SAR satellites to space, bringing the total number of missions to 15 and continuing Electron's role of primary launcher for their constellation.
Our next launch for iQPS is NET May.
I tend to agree. This video illustrates the problem of extreme concentration of power and wealth the SpaceX listing driven development represents by explaining why Musk cut Starlink from Russia (spoiler: it's certainly not the cause of Ukraine). youtu.be/nHzHmkISvsE?...
Rideshare is great for some. Not for others.
A dedicated launch on Electron gives small sat customers control over schedule, orbit, launch site, and payload processing.
Plus, when you fly dedicated on Electron you get to name the mission π

EU builds Iris^2 comsat cluster on Ariane 6, later the reusable Next/Themis. Eutelsat OneWeb on ISRO etc. launchers. Rocket Lab has space systems division with flatellite product for comsat clusters, upcoming reusable Neutron as 1st US cost-competitive Falcon 9 rival and EU, Jpn sat cluster clients.
Rocket Lab has received regulatory approval to acquire Mynaric β
The transaction has been approved by Germanyβs Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. As a result we expect the transaction to close in April.
MISSION SUCCESS π
Payload deployment confirmed for our 85th Electron launch. Welcome to orbit, @esa.int. 'The Daughter Of The Stars' is home.
On the same topic a good summary on European space dependency on US and how Europe is fixing it.
youtu.be/ZQLEoaSbfRA?...
Musk's SpaceX lost a $10B opportunity because of Trump policies. Europe wants space access sovereignty and despite current cost difference, the reusable Ariane Next/Themis may later mostly fix this as a platform to deliver the Iris^2 satellite cluster, a rival to Starlink. youtu.be/8qDy-w-K75g?...
Yes. Writing from my Prius. Rocket-like acceleration and loud engines should be the realm for orbital access - where they are the most cost-efficient way known to man for moving between the source and destination.
MISSION SUCCESS! Payload deployment confirmed on our 84th Electron mission. Another StriX satellite is in orbit for Synspective's Earth observation constellation for Japan π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦
It's launch day for Electron and our latest mission for Synspective. Horizontal checks are complete and the rocket is now vertical on the pad at LC-1.

Our largest launch contract yet: 20x new HASTE launches for Department of War to accelerate hypersonics for America. We're delivering reliable, modern hypersonic capabilities to the nation with speed and affordability - and the first mission in this block of launches is just months away.
Rocket Lab raising cash up to $1B is the right move to really capitalize on its ascension to be one of the most successful space sector growth companies with unparalleled frugality. If this can now faster scale up Neutron cadence and reuse this will just print money.

T-6 days to launch for "Daughter Of The Stars" - Electron's 85th launch and first time flying a dedicated mission for the European Space Agency @esa.int π°οΈπ°οΈ.
Integration and encapsulation is now complete, with ESA's 2x satellites secured to Electron inside its nose cone and ready for launch.
MISSION SUCCESS for Rocket Lab's 83rd Electron launch, deploying a single Earth observation satellite to a 470km LEO for the "Insight At Speed Is A Friend Indeed" mission.
Hats off to a decision that manifests true leadership. Looking forward to seeing big decisions truly beneficial to Canadian sovereignty, such as those related to a certain company in LinkΓΆping, Sweden. π¨π¦πΈπͺπͺ

Rocket Lab & the SDA have officially kicked off work on Tracking Layer Tranche 3.
Fantastic to get the teams together, align on the mission, & get ready to build the next gen of missile warning, tracking, and defense space vehicles. This program really matters and weβre proud to be part of it.
