2/ I was unaware of this development, but apparently the city of Valley Falls, in flagrant violation of Corps of Engineers regulations, piled a bunch of rocks and concrete rubble all the way across the river just above the lake, creating an impassable barrier for spawning white bass and sauger.
1/ My buddy and I were fishing for white bass on the Delaware River above Perry Lake and got totally blanked. Not even a tap. Very strange. On the way back to the car, we ran into a game warden who told us we would have better luck if we fished below the “illegal dam.”
