A little over two centuries ago, June 16, 1816, Mary Shelley created Science Fiction (and some say the Gothic Genre) when she wrote "Frankenstein". Around 150 years later, Lucille Ball championed a script that no one wanted, paid for the pilot and fought for the money enough to get "Star Trek" made. She also had a hand in "Westinghouse Desilou Playhouse", which gave Rod Serling the big break he needed to get "The Twilight Zone" produced.
