Football Twitter’s going well I see 😂
Someone’s been watching Limmy on twitch
I agree. Think one of the most moving I’ve seen from memory is Sunshine on Leith by Hibs fans
In fairness looking at the replay Gabriel doesn’t touch Haaland’s scrunchy so yellow card’s fine
Pretty wild re Martinez’ red card for ‘violent conduct’ on Monday, but Gabriel stays on the pitch for that 🤷🏻♂️
Not a unique point but this is clearly happening a lot isn’t it. The longer VARs been in place the more it’s de-skilling refs. There’s more tendency to take the least controversial call, hoping VAR will tidy it up if needed. But with the high clear&obv threshold, it’s leading to daft decisions.
When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.
Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform
Absolutely unreal result that, I’m buzzing. You could sense how happy the players were at FT too.
Of all the games to keep a clean sheet with those defensive injuries / suspensions. Not the best performance, but can’t blame Carrick for being cautious there given the CB pairing. #mufc
Oh boy. Just as I was forgetting about it I’ve just listened to the ref audio for the Bournemouth game. Absolutely every single word the VAR says about the Amad one could be applied to the Evanilson one. Crazy mental gymnastics to back up the on-pitch decision both times.
100% - he’s clearly not daft to build what he has with INEOS but he seems to have the same fallacy other billionaires have where they think they’re the smartest in the room about *everything* just because they’ve built wealth.
Nigel Farage doesn't want the NHS to be funded by general taxation.
Or to put it clearly, he wants to get rid of the NHS.
Wow, what a goal by Olise. But is there anything worse than Bayern’s goal music? Couple that with Matterface and McManaman just not stopping fucking talking for one fucking second over it all and allowing some sound of the atmosphere to come through - unbearable.
That did my head in, the KMI Panel of re Bournemouth game. If that doesn’t prove it’s just old boys club with some grudges coming to the fore nothing will. It’s a blatant tactical foul on Amad in the box, absolutely mental.
Didn’t know he was on here! Great stuff. 👌
I mean, it’s maybe strictly correct on the rules but you can lip read players swearing at refs all the time. Rodri post game directly questioned the integrity & bias of officials against City which is arguably worse, and only got fine rather than a ban. The inconsistency of enforcement is mental.
I’m really not claiming conspiracy, but all this in one season is impressive
DOGSO red for Barca, meaning this game has now pretty much had everything. Absolutely top tier watch this.
Look at all of these (PL hair pull incidents)
I’d honestly argue Martinez is by far the softest and least intentional. But 3 of them in this didn’t get red cards. Incredible.

Neville is a prick. Buying into a platform and creator that makes money off ridiculing #mufc and its players. Genuinely amazes me so many people watch the Goldbridge stuff. Very much old man yelling at cloud here but his popularity is sad incitement of the modern game.
Just said similar to someone else but you’ve put it better than me. Remember the goal (correctly but closely) ruled out for Coventry in the FA Cup semi. In a game where Cov also got a soft handball pen. Refs/VAR got a hammering then too for making a *correct* decision in #mufc favour. It’s madness.
For the following days/weeks. Refs face demotion if they dare give us a 50/50. Give poor decisions against us? Everyone shrugs their shoulders. Sky simply discuss something else. The analysis given to a tight call in United’s favour isn’t worth the hassle and scrutiny for officials. Blame Sky TV.
We’ve demanded a United manager speak up about the shit decisions we continue to get. Carrick did after Bournemouth. What happened? Exactly the same in the very next game. It won’t get fixed. Because officials are too weak. The root cause is the media. Any decision in our favour is scrutinised…
100% this - it’s not big conspiracy but it’s a natural tendency to want to avoid a massive dissection on social media and on TV. I still think back to the reaction to that Coventry goal being ruled out for offside in the FA Cup semi, and everyone berating VAR for it for correctly ruling it out 🤷🏻♂️
Good. It can be a poor showing and piss poor reffing at the same time.
I was just thinking this walking to the tram! That I could’ve sworn there was a high profile incident in the women’s game recently which has probably had an impact and there it is. Incredible. It’s just flavour of the week isn’t it.
Wow. So Leeds basically had a de facto challenge system in place. Amazing VAR scenes.
Two fucking infuriating matches in a row. I do think having a cup game last weekend actually helped Leeds though re match sharpness, and they took advantage well. Despite that some of that reffing was dreadful again too though. If Leeds were given a red for that there’d be uproar.
Was it only four days ago The Telegraph comment pages were gazing into their tea leaves ?
