Pretty good first day at my new job—though I’ve got quite the learning curve to overcome. I think this will be a really fulfilling job, though. 💖
The downside: I’m SO tired but I need to write lol. 🫠
Tomorrow’s my first day of work after being unemployed for about six months. And it’s going to be my first in-person job in years. I am anxious, but also excited. I think once I get past the nerves, this is going to be really good for my mental health. At least, I hope so.
Setting new goals for a new year… 👀
Writing is fun.
I just wish it didn’t make me stay up so late.
I need to learn better discipline in my writing because I keep getting sidetracked with research every time I need to look up what SHOULD be one little thing. 🫠
Okay, just gonna say: The first four episodes of Stranger Things 5 are SO FREAKING GOOD OMG. I’m so hyped for Christmas! 😬
I kinda dropped off the face of the planet for a bit there… How do you even remember to actually post on social media? 😅
Thanks a bunch to my amazing mom for helping me with setup! Excited for Day 1 tomorrow! ☀️
Ready for another L.A. Comic Con this weekend! ☀️

Happy 4th Birthday to my cuties, Miss Elizabeth Bennet (Lizzy) and Mr. Charles Bingley (Charlie)! These siblings fill my heart with so much love and warmth, I can hardly believe it. 💖

July’s newsletter was tough to write. But the short of it is this: GLITCH, as a comic, is on an indefinite hiatus as its artist has left the project. I’ll search for a new artist, but in the meantime, I’ll be adapting and continuing GLITCH as a series of novels to ensure fans get a complete story.

All set for Whittier Comic Fest! ☀️
Okay so I’m pretty sure How to Train Your Dragon is a PERFECT live-action remake. They didn’t mess with an already great thing—they just enhanced it. That was an absolutely stunning watch.
I managed to teach one of my cats a trick!
My latest newsletter just went live! Read to hear about SFS Art Fest and what I’m currently working on. ☀️

That means a lot coming from someone as cool as you haha.
Thank you! I really need a new job so I need all the luck I can get. 😅
Just submitted a job application I’m really excited for. Would be great to at least get an interview for once… 😬🤞🏻
Here's the pitch: D&D meets Breaking Bad in a comic universe.

Thanks! The occasional wind was a bit of a problem but I made things work lol. 😅

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth at SFS Art Fest this weekend! I had a really fun time, and it was great meeting so many people in my own hometown. 😊

Today, while at the Carlsbad Flower Fields, I learned that the key to befriending butterflies is buying a new sun hat at the nearby gift shop out of desperation because you forgot that the sun hates you. Apparently butterflies LOVE new sun hats bought out of desperation. 🦋

I kinda really wanna get a GLITCH coloring book made. Not really sure where to start, but I think it could be a fun thing to offer, especially since we get so many kids at our convention tables.
Anyone ever put one together and willing to share some advice?
I’ll be selling copies of GLITCH as well as lots of merch at SFS Art Fest on Saturday, April 26, at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs! Come say hi and support local artists and vendors from 3-11 PM! ☀️
I thought tonight I’d get to bed at a decent hour but then my cat decided to fall asleep on my lap so I guess I’m stuck for the foreseeable future.
My brain is buzzing with post-apocalyptic ideas for a fantasy book trilogy, a short story anthology, a novelette, and a couple other speculative books. All on top of ideas to adapt GLITCH into a YA novel series.
Maybe this is why I have chronic migraines…

I’ve had cats all of my life, and Charlie is the first one who immediately makes friends with strangers when they enter the house.
We’re in the process of rebranding from Wasteland Comics to After Worlds End Publishing! Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to expand beyond just comics to bring you even more post-apocalyptic tales of hope and wonder by @srlandauer.bsky.social. ☀️
