A screenshot of a Tweet from 2019 presenting an exchange the poster had with a nurse on that day where she scored 25 out of 27 points on their mental health evaluation. The poster jokes that it must mean they are “good at mental health,” but then a Crisis Counselor entered the room. The poster merely says “ah beans” at this turn of events.
I just wanted to put this up here so it’s somewhere besides the bad place.
The main problem with my Polyamory Hallmark Christmas Romance is that it's like... 35 minutes long?
When you introduce the 👏PEG👏THEM👏BOTH👏mechanic, you throw off the drama of having the rivals compete.
Now it's just a movie about buying a Franklin Planner and working on scheduling.
I would like to pitch you a Hallmark Christmas Romance for the Polyamory community.
Our heroine leaves her Big City Job and her Big City BF and goes to Christmastown USA where she falls for a reedy and/or hunky guy in a toque and a flannel shirt and when her BF shows up, she pegs them both.
Sent something over, but I gotta ask: have you got a Cagemas Miracle lined up for the podcast for the last episode of the calendar year?
Cause I’m watching Gunslingers for the first time, I’m 8.5 minutes in, and it is… a fantastic candidate. Holy shit, y’all. The Old Way, this ain’t.
Hey, @dankmccoy.bsky.social, the drawings in your Special Interests newsletter, are they pen and paper, or are they digital drawings?
If there is a physical drawing of the Ramones/Pet Semetary comic, I would really, really, REALLY like the opportunity to purchase it. Is that at all possible??
A screen shot of Toshiro Mifune dancing in the film Drunken Angel (dir. Akira Kurosawa, 1948) misattributed as a frame from Wild at Heart (dir. David Lynch, 1990) due to Mifune having a passing resemblance to Nicolas Cage in what could be roughly seen as a similar scene as when Cage and Laura Dern are dancing at the Powermad concert.
Wild at Heart (dir. David Lynch, 1990)
A picture of an action sequence from the 1996 movie Twister, misattributed to A Goofy Movie from 1995 because the windmill in the pictured farm supply company says “gorsh,” a common exclaimation from Walt Disney’s Goofy.

When I was in 4th grade I got punched in the face by a kid named Dave. Dave was known for punching other kids in the face. Then I got invited to his birthday party and was supposed to take him a present... that's what this 4th of July feels like.

I just learned that Danny McBride was asked by Ye to play him in a biopic. I would have watched the hell out of that.
Hi, @laurajanegrace.bsky.social. After having the idea kick around in my head since 2017, I finally got my second Against Me! tattoo. Thank you for everything.
But people who don’t celebrate… ARE they people? I thought they were more like chuds?

Raging Bull (1980)

The Dark Knight (2008)

Watching the third of Catriona MacColl’s “trilogy” of Lucio Fulci movies, and I’m down for it. Haunted house, weird ghostly shit, but Jesus, who calls a child BOB!?!?!?
No moustache? No deal.
It’s sad just how many people just don’t care about others and what they are going through. No one is undeserving of healthcare, and no one should be going hungry.
the buccaneers are one team i would not want to play in the postseason. i'm not in football shape, i don't have anywhere near the skill set that would be necessary, i don't belong to a team, and i would have to play them by myself. under no circumstances would i be interested in that matchup
