MtGA is having an event where first prize are two play booster boxes from Japanese Bloomburrow, which seems like a pretty cool first prize, and offering physical prizes is a big step forward imo

the last time i played in a serious way was during Conflux, so i really feel quite behind the learning curve with so many new mechanics, yet what's more challenging is rule changes to how things used to work. playing MtGA has been helping with that, so that's good :)

i've been on Arena for a bit, but mostly just playing around in Brawl so i have few Duskmourne cards other than the surveil lands, 'natch :)

there's a *lot* to it of course, and knowing contemporary earth history helps provide a lot of the emotional impact of it.
