I'm in Los Angeles, so I'm good.

Talking with a friend from Boston. I forgot it was Marathon Monday!

To pivot heavily, J. Crew Factory is having a spring sale, and I have obviously put a number of navy and white striped items in my cart.
It's good. I knew some of the things in it already, but I'll still liking it.
Bodies are weird and the general feeling about them is weird and I lived through all of that in my 90s and early 2000s adolescence. Now I just want to take a nap.
Anyway, thank goodness for having to do laundry.
I rarely discuss my personal weight stuff in public because it's not worth the headache. I can understand why people do, but I just can't.

Very glad I've missed most of the discussion today about how GLP-1s make people feel, and if writing about your personal feelings about them is good or bad.
In very Samantha Things, I'm currently watching a documentary on Netflix called American Godfathers: The Five Families. The narrator (and one of the executive producers) is Imperioli.
No worries. I just become a big nerd about any new hobby I find.
They were in Qatar for the last one. They were in this country's group with England and Wales. But FIFA is refusing to move their matches for this one.
I was 11 when this country last hosted, and Boston was bustling with people from many places.
I live in a host city and would have loved to go, but I refuse to be fleeced by Infantino who awarded a tin peace price to you know who.
Was thinking again today that this country currently being a disaster and FIFA being corrupt as fuck is likely going to ruin this upcoming World Cup.
This will definitely piss off you-know-who because the new Archbishop of Canterbury is a woman.

Sorry your sneakers were boring.
The Allbirds thing is hilarious to me because trying to make fashion into a tech company is stupid. The aesthetics of clothing is important.
Happens to all of us.
Gender in general is complex.
But how does one define feminity? It is a complex notion.
Being brown or black or tall and strong is often interpreted as not being feminine.
It's not the thesis of the essay but feminity being conflated with whiteness is a discussion point.
As a black woman from a family of black women who also has black women friends unfortunately none of this is surprising. I have a PoC, non-binary PCP for a reason.
The cutest baby to ever exist.
