I was today-years-old when I learned that modern depictions of Pac-Man lend themself to the 1982 Hanna-Barbera cartoon. It really is a limp dick excuse when you consider the sheer amount of gimmick bands that have kept up the full facade for years, including ones that played before them in full armor! Like you can't just wear a bandana are a striped shirt? I'm asking for bare minimum here!

What's worse is that they used to actually dress like pirates but abandoned it because it was apparently "too difficult to keep up with" and that they wanted their music to "speak for itself." Which would be commendable if they weren't a gimmick band that literally sing about being pirates.

I truly think one of my biggest disappointments in modern times was getting to see a band self professed as "pirate metal" and all of the members just dress like stereotypical douchebag fuck boys...
