This painting is amazing and very well done. I was wondering, is everything done in watercolor, or did you use other mediums as well, like gouache or acrylic? I’m especially curious about the pink reflections on the water.

To be honest, I don’t draw or paint that often, but I do put a lot of time and effort into each piece.

I did think about adding the Tree of Pain, but I find it a bit challenging to make it fit into the composition. I’ll definitely think more about it.

I agree with you. I was amazed by the first two books, but a bit disappointed with the last two. But I’ve been really fascinated by the Shrike.

It’s actually the first time I’ve done a drawing with this level of detail, but I think I struggled a bit with the metallic texture and it looks a bit organic. Are you a fan of the books too?
