Quote with your horn art.

I actually had to go back 16 years to find one 😅

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I’ve been painting these starry skies for years now, and I think I’ve improved. This one is a bit old, but there’s more to come in this theme. :)

And this is beautifully executed. I’ve been seeing more and more artists using watercolor pencils. I should give it a try one day. :)

Oh, so it’s not that old! It’s great that you’ve evolved so quickly in just over a year. I’m really looking forward to seeing how your style continues to grow.

This painting is amazing and very well done. I was wondering, is everything done in watercolor, or did you use other mediums as well, like gouache or acrylic? I’m especially curious about the pink reflections on the water.

Let’s go back to my starry night theme with this dreamy old watercolor, a small boat under a colorful, fantastical sky.

Oh, indeed, your style has changed a lot over the years. I really like your old style as well. It’s clean, and the characters are very expressive. When did you start drawing werewolves? :)

You seem like the kind of person who befriends monsters. I like you! 😄

Just for fun, if you see this, quote with one of your oldest drawings.
I’m curious! 👀

*my style has so changed since then!*

Haha, sounds safer, but I don’t think I’d ever try it 😄

Wow, you were quite young! I’m not sure I would have fully appreciated the book in middle school. You must have been quite mature for your age.
Thanks again for the idea and your comment, I really appreciate it!

Thank you so much! That makes me feel happy :)

Thank you so much for your heartwarming comment!
To be honest, I don’t draw or paint that often, but I do put a lot of time and effort into each piece.
I also checked your account, and your art looks very promising to me. I love it (and werewolves are so cute). You should be kinder to yourself ^^

Haha, obviously, he’s a bit over-equipped for that purpose! xD

Haha, don’t worry, I’m working on it ;-)

I’m really happy to see there are so many people who love this series. In my circle, I’m the only one!
I did think about adding the Tree of Pain, but I find it a bit challenging to make it fit into the composition. I’ll definitely think more about it.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

I really appreciate your feedback! And I think you’re absolutely right. It’s not my first attempt at drawing the Shrike, and each time I try to get closer to the description. But sometimes, it just doesn’t feel right and I’m not always sure why. Your comment makes me progress, thank you!

Oh, that’s so kind of you! Thank you, I really appreciate it 😊

That’s a powerful compliment for me. It’s not always easy to capture the whole picture from a simple description, so I’m really glad you recognized it right away!

I agree with you. I was amazed by the first two books, but a bit disappointed with the last two. But I’ve been really fascinated by the Shrike.
It’s not my first attempt, and I’ll definitely keep drawing him. I’m really glad you liked it. Thanks for your kind comment! 😊

Oh wow, that’s a huge compliment! I’m so glad you recognized it so quickly 😊
It’s actually the first time I’ve done a drawing with this level of detail, but I think I struggled a bit with the metallic texture and it looks a bit organic. Are you a fan of the books too?

Just finished the linework of my Shrike from Dan Simmons’ Hyperion Cantos.
I’d like to take this piece further, but I’m not sure what to do next. Any suggestions? 😊

As long as we find meaning in our lives, I think it matters more than money. It’s great that you’ve found that meaning and that it makes you happy. 😊

Your journey is very inspiring. It’s amazing that you had such an adventure. I really enjoy my job, which makes it hard to give it up. I also love making art, but for now it’s just an occasional hobby. Maybe one day I’ll choose a different path, like you did. Thank you for sharing your story!

Oh, I love the combination of ink and the different colors. It has a strong sci-fi feeling. I’m wondering what could have caused such a hole in the ship, some kind of creature or weapon? Very intriguing. 🫢

Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me. I wish I had more time. My job is quite demanding. But I’d never give it up. Your work is really inspiring too. 🙂

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! I’m still learning every day, definitely not at my thousandth painting yet 😄

You’re very welcome and it’s well deserved. And you’re absolutely right, the learning process never really ends. That’s what makes art so wonderful. There’s always something new to learn.
Keep up the good work my friend. :)
