Photo of my large handsome fluffy brown tuxedo tabby Fergus sitting upright in a small cardboard box.
Many people doubted Fergus. “He’ll never fit in that box!” they said. But I never doubted him. 🏆

Design Cuts was something special, with a sense of community. Many of us now can't access things we bought and feel blindsided by the sudden closure Thursday. I have been involved in the Facebook discussions, and while we don't have too many facts yet, we are hoping more will come to light this week
If you’re afraid that books might change someone’s thinking, you’re not afraid of books, you’re afraid of thinking.

A misty autumn morning with orange leaves on the beech trees and littered on the earth below. A path meanders beneath the trees into the mist.
I wish Autumn never had to end. Not just for the colours, but also that calmness and stillness, the quiet that hangs in the air like a physical presence. But every falling leaf is like a little tick from a clock, time passing in orange swirls and flutters.

The milky way on a winters night in the Scottish Highlands.
This was a very cold night, but such a great night. The night sky in the Scottish Highlands is the clearest and darkest I have ever seen.
This shot was taken enroute to Laggan Dam to shoot the Milky Way. I just had to stop and get this shot.

Our stunning home galaxy stretching over a frozen loch in the Scottish Highlands.
shot, but the sky was so clear I forgot about the cold, I was in absolute awe at what I was seeing. The pinky area a 3rd of the way up the Milky Way is the North America nebula and in the top left you just about make out the Andromeda galaxy.
