so many of my art moots and friends are going through a rough time right now, and i just wish i could do more. I definitely know how they feel, i have depressed episodes often. i hope they know how much they and their work contribute to the world. i hope they know that they are worthy and loved.

The first quarter is drawing to a close today (🤢) and I feel like I have so much to reflect on. At the end of 2025, I felt really out of love with the world and pretty lost. I started doing a lot of work to gather about who I was as a person (I didn’t know anymore), and, to my surprise, worked. 🧵

Been seeing a lot of tweets about whether pleats are back. Are they "in" or "out?" Are they modern or old?

Personally don't like this line of thinking, as it's driven by ready-to-wear trends, which forces you to update your wardrobe every decade. Let me give you another way to think about pleats. 🧵

Sometimes I let the "you wouldn't have ADHD if you spent more time outside" get to me and I do wonder, but can confirm I still have ADHD when I go outside.

if you want to know how important it is for you to do this math: the fees patreon took from me in 2025 add up to roughly 3 months of income. that's 3 months of income i would have paid taxes on if i didn't deduct the fees from the 1099. 3 months of income i never actually had!
