Als ich das Buch damals gelesen habe, hat es mich rasend gemacht, wie absolut uninteressiert der Text selbst an der oberflächlichsten Auseinandersetzung mit den Werken, die dort vermeintlich verehrt werden ist. Wichtig ist dort nur, auswendig zu kennen.

Ich finde, das mangelnde moralische Bewusstsein, das Du ansprichst, lässt sich auch RP1 schon sehr gut ablesen. Wade ist vollkommen unfähig irgendetwas über sich, seine Welt und deren Absurdität zu reflektieren. Es könnte fast Satire sein, aber das Buch selbst hinterfragt ja auch nichts.
