A woman dressed in "Tudor" clothes sits on a folding wooden stool in an open tent doing something with fabric. She is wearing a thick brown skirt with a matching laced top over a shiny long-sleeved silk shirt, and with a matching silk apron and a cover on the back of her head, while a large straw sombrero-style bonnet hangs down behind her. A wicker basket containing various pieces of fabric is on the ground on her left side with a three-legged wooden stall is further to her left. Another such basket is on the ground to her right.

I'd wondered about that. Thanks.
Pink and white blossom on a tree. Most blossom seems to come and go before the leaves are out, but not this lot. I've always associated this mix of pink, white, and green as indicating an apple tree. But Apple Photos told me it's a plum tree. I should have tried asking Plum Photos.
Apple or Plum
Or something else?

Clannad singer and harpist Moya Brennan dies aged 73
She had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. And this is one of her most beautiful songs.

I do hope you mean that you fixed the way it sometimes jumps all the way to the top of the feed, leaving us to scroll down page after page looking to find where we were. That's *really* annoying.
Seven clusters of orange tulip-like flowers hanging down from thick green three-feet-tall stalks, bp crowned by many long green leaves. There are a lot of similar leaves at the base of the plants.

According to the Tracker app for Bluesky, 35 people have blocked me since I joined. We can only guess why. In my case, I'm guessing it's because I post news about AI, and some people think all AI is bad, so they'd rather not know than learn more.
As I understand it, there's no way for people to stop other people following them, other than to block them.

I was thinking about what the law thought about the criminal, and how far he's likely to go.
Had to look that one up. 😀
Of I had an eight-foot tall mongoose as a pet, I'd call it Hugh.

Eight Egyptian Goose chicks sleeping next to the lake in London's Hyde Park. They're bundled so close together it's difficult to tell one from another.

I was going to post an April Fools joke about a fossilised rabbit egg skeleton that was discovered on an archaeological dig in Wuzhen. But it wouldn't get past you knowledgable people, would it? You already know that Easter isn't a national holiday in China.
