I feel very fortunate to have been invited to come to Graz in 2023 to work on my chapter and spend time with colleagues there. Very fond memories of working in the Contemporary History offices in between wandering in Graz, sitting in the park and reading with coffee and ice cream, going for runs etc
Looking forward to speaking next month on 18 May at @vahs.bsky.social seminar series about #womensgrassrootsactivism & how we used participatory research to co-create & co-produce our #Activism100+ toolkit. If 18 May seems too far away you can find out more here 😊 learn.lsbu.ac.uk/womens-grass...

Many thanks to The Women's Library who hold and care for the archives of St Joan's International Alliance. @fotwl.bsky.social @gillianmurphy.bsky.social @lselibrary.bsky.social . This research couldn't happen without them!
If you're in need of historical research (in archives or more generally), indexing, editing or copyediting, I have some capacity for freelance work over the coming months. Do take a look at my website and be in touch - I'm happy to chat about how I might be able to help.

Well done Kate.
A pint of Bitburger with a Brighton Marathon medal in front of it. The metal bit of the medal is black and has a Royal Pavilion-shapes cut out, the ribbon is pink on one side and back on the other.
I ran the Brighton Marathon today, and shaved 15 mins off my time from last year. I’ve had a lovely sit down in the pub, now having a lovely sit down on the train, there will basically be a lot of sitting down in my immediate future!
Pleased to report that my chapter (with Jon Lawrence and Jane Elliot) on Social Science, New Society and the Politics of Social Change is now open access alongside the rest of
