It's always sad to read about someone's passing, but...Brian Wilson's hit me extra hard. I was young when I first heard the Beach Boys but their harmonies wrote indelible marks on my soul. I didn't need to sing lead vocals to be a part of something joyful. My ear is excellent - I owe it to Brian.

yeah, not everyone has it, but it is VERY understandable that some do. essentially to some, the pattern of holes makes our limbic system yell "DISEASE!"
