Poor quality? Then they are utilising their skills the wrong way. It takes someone with good direction and knowledge to point work most suited to that person. Art is subjective, skill level can be learned, and pieces improved on with feedback. But to just yeet them, shows the leads inexperience.

The xbox 360 launch, was the last time they did things for gamers. We had a budget to hold a store party, invite preorders in for some fun whilst they waited till midnight. Food, drink and we got to dress up.

Those were the good launch days...

Then corporate came in. Insisted if someone walked near the console section, to jump on and push a sale. Gameware, products had to be pushed for every sale, loyalty cards had to be used in every transaction. Our targets were stupid, the bonus' non existent.

Agreed. I used to work there. I loved looking over the preowned game bins, sorting them and watching ppl flick through them. Ppl would come in for our opinions of games, we didn't have to push sales. I did have to spook away kids that bent the strategy guides instead of buying them x)
