I hear you but not all of them are like that, and frankly the ones that are, are unlikely to see the light any time soon anyway. It's those that come around and realize what has happened that we should welcome into the fold to fight back, in my view.
The foundation of democracy is not voting, essential as it is, it is an informed citizenry. That is why one of the paramount jobs of autocrats is to attack education, free thought, ideas, speech, knowledge & facts themselves. And that is just what Trump, Musk and MAGA are doing. Everywhere you look.

Yes, it's very difficult. But the way I see it is we can have a civil war or a revolutionary one.
It truly is a modern version of a cult and I want to make efforts to help them get out, which isn't easy. This wouldn't just benefit them, but all of us.
I completely understand this sentiment! But having I also believe that many aren't bad people, but instead have been duped by a very powerful mis/disinformation campaign that hits from every angle. If we want to defeat Trumpism/Maga we need as many people understanding the threat as possible.
The sooner we realize it's not left versus right, but the mega- rich versus the rest of us, the sooner we can begin to fight back.
We need Maddow/O'Donnell to purchase MSNBC and then Soros or Bloomberg to buy Fox news and maybe then we can have a chance in the misinformation war?
