#Brewers doing the Skubal, Skeens two-step? Sounds fun!

Doesn't get much better than being able to listen to Jason Benetti calling a #Brewers game. Already throwing out subtle obscure Craig Counsel references for the occasion.

Is that the price of gas in Georgia?!? ***JEALOUS***

And by "minor miracle" of course I meant, "foregone conclusion." And by "any" I obviously meant, "lots"

Thank you for all the work leading up to the big event!!! Been fun to see all these data points

It's a minor miracle this #Brewers team scores any runs on a nightly basis. Just gotta survive and advance until hopeful reinforcements arrive

Man, get Abner a glove that matches. That one.... Doesn't

What's that annoying spin doctors song? Glad I've apparently managed to mostly exercise it from my brain, whatever it is. 90s me would feel encouraged by this.

I might have to check out that particular source run of Daredevil that you describe

Just not sure why Daredevil was such a blind spot for me. I only ever really associated Kingpin with Spider-Man

I was a big Green Lantern kid so I was into a lot of DC stuff. But man the characters in DD are rich. Never heard of Foggy Nelson a few years ago and now he's one of my current favorite characters in all fiction. Shows how far character writing can go and that the 'super powers' aren't the point

I think many feel this way and encapsulates why the more grounded storytelling of Daredevil Born Again is being well received now. Doesn't take leaps and bounds for that type of storytelling to resonate in today's climate. Enjoying it with hardly any childhood exposure to that character

It's Rygar's birthday! That's right, 'twas this time back in 1987 when Rygar reached the Famicom.

To celebrate, we are giving away a free copy of The Complete History of Rygar.

Yes I know who the president is and what type of young replacement we'd get. But it's gonna happen anyway when he retires in the next 2 years. And Alito literally votes for evil every time as-is, so can't really practically get worse. So just let me enjoy a more unnatural & fun transfer of his seat

It's a damn shame that in this bleak world, rays of hope like this hospitalization sometimes shine through but we don't even get to celebrate them in real time or spend those joyous hours waiting for an update while fingers crossed.

My least favorite types of teams to watch are middling ones. Not good enough to contend but not bad enough to draft, or with enough space for, difference makers. Being sold in false hope of winning while actually just treading water. The purgatory of the NBA 2/2.

Agreed. I love watching a contender more than anything. But I also love watching a rebuilding team with young players who might break out.... As long as there's a clear plan (Not sure executive leadership currently in place fits the bill, pretty sure they don't) 1/2

Jake Bauers coming up to Roy Ayers is elite walk up material. Works so well

Thanks, Jim. Hopefully things are going well and he's happy and spending time with family. Kinda hoping he makes/made an appearance in the Uecker doc

Interesting, I might try to find that. Push some of those nostalgia buttons. Thanks!

I really always missed Jim Powell. Always emphasized the minors in his 8th inning turn. Just a great broadcaster too imo. Was shocked when I looked some years later to find him not doing Braves games anymore.
