I think I might actually be internalizing a lesson.
Started to design the Jottle logo and share image. Stopped myself a few minutes and said, "just do something quick and simple for now."
Boom. Done. Move on to the important stuff... like shipping.

Thought I was ready for user testing.
Demoed it to my accountability partner before sending it out and found a HUGE problem.
A few hours of debugging and now I think we're good. But will take a break and come back refreshed to check one more time.

I made a great product decision yesterday.
I stopped working when I felt totally cooked.
Better decisions are made clear-headed and refreshed.
Issues don't seem as big or complex.

I did not quite get to where I wanted to be today but still stoked on the progress.

Jottle is a Chrome extension + web dashboard for 0 friction thought capture.
Open extension, type, hit send. The note is automatically titled, de-typoed, and categorized.
On the dashboard: review, copy notes to wherever they belong, clear them out.

Another note to myself. Yes, a marathon sesh can be good.
But when you get too tired to think and get impatient, there is a point of diminishing returns, sloppy prompting, and costs time in the long run.

Similar idea. It's a Chrome extension you can open with a keyboard shortcut, type your thought, hit send, and it goes to your dashboard titled, categorized, and grammatically cleaned up.
More a reminder to myself as Jottle gets closer and closer to being fully functional.
Ship it ugly. Ship > perfection. It does not have to look "perfect." You can polish design later. Function first. Get feedback. Don't add more features.
