also as much as i think there were loose ends like. everywhere this doesn't feel like an empty ending in the usual sense since we see denji and asa, our protags, actually get a good ending and after all the bs they deserve it

tho i know it's being meme'd on so bad but such is the internet

+ and all it took was him being human. i think for him that's a great message just b/c by the end being chainsaw man was unhealthy and he kept hiding behind it to the point where he just outright wasn't living a good life

so i do think it's actually sweet to give him a normal life at the very end
