A recurring theme in performance art is obsession with the ideal of self.
For instance if a man is chasing their ideal self and not rooted in substance (community, family, purpose, etc.) their humanity can in some instances go to highest bidder.
If you're beliefs don't inconvenience you, but inconvenience those around you...
you might be suffering from cognitive dissonance.
So in this excersice, "queerness" is the expression of someone looking to be seen for how they can create safety for others regardless of gender and yet feel unsafe to follow traditional rules of emotional engagement and vulnerability.
As they now are only appreciated through a capitalistic lense.
You realize how women appreciated how showed up for them but saw your emotions as "too much" when asking for accountability to how they made you feel at times.
Or how men feel safe to be vulnerable around you cause of "who you are" but blame you for the depth of vulnerability created over time.
And after building a life around a hyper-masculine traditional identity, that neglected your neurodivergence in survival oriented family, you were forced to hold the weight of your own existence since childhood.
Queerness isn't "just" about who you like in bed.
It can be the introspective acceptance of a father wound of abandonment that lead you to hyper-perform masculinity in the presence of a mother who created a wound of emotional-neglect for the benefit of their wellness in your father's absence...
Power profits from division, but unitity is better for shareholders.
Men would rather die, than expand their understanding on how they feel about anything.
Women who disrupt status quo, will always upset the women married the men above.
Homophobia exists to shame people into having babies.
