If you move forward with this project, please tag me. If the role would fit, I'm probably interested; if not, I know a couple of folks who may be available and interested.

Rendering load reduction (what source types are less resource intensive, how to set up and combine sources to make them lighter on resources); preventing video artifacting (animate all areas of the screen); audio separation and filtering to prevent peaking and inaudible speech; closed captions.
I’ll second and third the pricing comments (especially a la carte/piecemeal).
I can’t stress enough that my pronouns are she/her AND they/them. I have NO preference. Stop attacking my friends for being correct and using both. Stop insisting they use ‘they’ only as that also erases part of my identity.
If you have an image for the voice, include a general description when putting out the call; people will forward to contacts that fit a specific description more than they’ll forward to everyone.
Posting here is a good start (find good tags). Check with the drama department at the nearest uni or HS.
To save cost, you might look at a beginner who needs to build their reel and include the footage as part of the pay.
Be prepared for people to say no because $ (you said tiny budget).
Weight painting, esp. since you have worked with more natural bends. Logically, it always sounds simple; doing it seems to always wind up with a spider web for me.
Materials that work in one or more vtuber software packages. I have a model with a more complex mat that won’t render in vtuber apps.
I rarely respond to shoutouts (autocorrect thought I meant doctors; that’s a therapy session, and I’m not paying you to hear it) unless I’ve seen them in chat, co-streams, etc.. If the streamer I’m watching can tell me more, I might take a look.
Forgot the other half of what I was saying: there are adapters that will let you output to HDMI which can then be captured like any video source (capture card, etc.).
I’ve used 3uAirPlayer. It worked fairly well to mirror a game. It enables screen mirroring to a Windows PC.
If I'm dealing with tech issues, message goes in chat, maybe on-screen, but my normal Starting Soon is: hit the Go Live button, get Twitch to run ads, as soon as ads are done, start talking/trying to do stuff. This also prevents spiraling and psyching myself out.
I’ll throw in another cheap tech tip for model “tracking”: two OBS filters that provide a lot of movement are Scale to Sound and Image Reaction.
You can also use fugitech reactive, but that uses a rather resource-heavy browser source.
These options allow avatar activity without as much weight.
Even in a world where LLM never existed this is solid mentoring
Just tried to stream. New technical failure. This is the first time I have ever had dropped frames. Between 25% and 65%. Yes, 65%.
Make your own anyway. Do you know how many guides, how-tos, etc. exist for the same (other) topics? A different explanation can reach others that existing explanations haven’t reached.
You knew it was going to *tee off* some people, *putt* you just had to *drive* home that you were going a *fairway* towards playing golf, but your puns were a little *rough*. However, if they're feeling a bit *green* with envy over the humour, they need to get that *chip* off their sho[CHAR LIMIT!]😀
All Lego: Interior corridor of the Tantive IV (the blockade runner at the beginning of Star Wars: A New Hope). 2 light side troopers and 2 dark side troopers in various positions of relaxation against bulkheads and doorway kneeknockers. On the front edge of the passage, a third light side trooper is laying on their back with their helmet drawn over their eyes.
Planning to finish getting Vader on the Tantive tonight. These troopers are just lounging around talking. I should be going live about 10:00 PM (22:00) EDT/2:00 AM (02:00) GMT.

So, apparently something's wrong with my go live notification script. Thank you to those who showed up, it's been too long since I've streamed. A massive thank you to @camronjk.com for the raid. Didn't raid out; partly 'cause I got tossed for a loop when my camera battery died.

I'm not looking at any new consoles for quite a while otherwise, so... here's hoping.

Non-trivial chance of me streaming tonight, probably about 10:00 PM (22:00) EDT/2:00 AM (02:00) GMT. I have a webcam set up, a new mic (no shock mount, yet), and lots of Legos.
Get your toms from a farmers’ market & ask the growers about the varieties. Some are relatively dry. Most store bought varieties are grown for colour & sweetness, & wind up bland & drippy. I think the beefsteak-style varieties are supposed to be drier. Assuming you’re not getting restaurant burgers.
The one steamer I know that does it, I suspect uses it as a way to gain a moment to regroup (mental health reasons). Outside of that, the only good reason is to give raiders a chance to finish coming in. I’m not advocating one way or the other on the videos, just observing reasons I think are valid.
I know some people following my account are interested in this, so I apologise now for at’ing them.

Over half of U.S. states have passed a form of an online age verification law.
These laws pose a unique threat of outing transgender people or blocking them from the internet entirely, especially in places where they are unable to access accurate IDs.
We all deserve anonymity and privacy online.
GIGGS D&D returns for Session 2 tomorrow, 8pm GMT!
Hope you're all excited to see what we've cooked up 😁
Think about everyone from Hawai’i (most Polynesian cultures tbh). They call any respected adult female “auntie”, so Hawai’i must bring in as much alcohol as the rest of the U.S. put together. 😀
Also, completely unrelated: my phone doesn’t know how to spell Hawai’i properly.
I can confirm that it’s at least a some ADHD thing. It’s not just you.
Screenshot of an interview on NPR's website with writer David Simon. SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without AI, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems... SIMON: What? SHAPIRO: ...Or saying... SIMON: You imagine that? SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over. SIMON: I don't think AI can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level. SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an AI and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this. SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.
This is the only correct response.
