Rumbling over the viaduct, James pulling a mixed goods train to vicarstown. Usually he doesn’t like taking goods, but the sights from te stone arch bridge cheered him up as he puffed across.

It’s an interesting thought that Percy is more or less the designated goods engine on Thomas’s branchline. Yes everyone does mixed jobs here and there but Percy handles most if not all the goods work.
