Baked them a little too close together but, the New York Times edition Chocolate Chip Cookies, an old recipe but an unbeatable classic. 2 flour type mix, 24 hour+ chilled, dark + milk chocolate chunks and sea salt Also I browned half the butter, added that extra nuttiness.

Sonic 3, AGAIN how do they keep making them consistently GOOD?

The nostalgia tones hit at the exact right moments and the movie breathes on its own too.

Game Awards '24 retrospective
-Cant believe SH2 won nothing, esp for best performance :(
-Elden Ring Nightrein HYPE
-VF6, HYPE
-Clive for Tekken? Man, the series just gets further away from its original aesthetic. Not a knock on Clive but, just does not fit.

Being a gamer in your 30s means you get all the games you always wanted but finish maybe 3 of them and replay your favorite ones over and over

All things considered pretty good start to my 30s (historical events aside), making $$, ❤️ wife and kiddo, aside family and great friends. Blessed to have the life that I have, gotta appreciate what you have when you have it.

Things I miss from Gaming when I was a kid

🎮 Reading the game manual on the way home over and over

🎮 Playing the most random obscure game cos it was all you could get

🎮 the smell of a new game when you opened the case

🎮 4 Player Splitscreen at a friend's house

Good Times 😩

There are benefits to accessibility, but as always when lowering the skill floor it just doesn't feel as special anymore and that's just less fun to me.

I like T8 Law in some ways but I don't like him (for me) in others.

+Easier DSS is less combos drops
-Easier DSS is less satisfying when you frame trap or do DSS pressure
+Great new tools like uf+3, 1+2, Slide from DSS
-Backturn game is ass now

Hrm

On first reaction 2000s slow rock might not be the thing you think of when you think of a horror game. But Akira Yamaoka somehow nailed it when matching these songs to the game. Its just something about these tracks that really sells the melancholy and tragic vibes of Silent Hill 2. Masterful.
