My office is detached from my house, on the far end of our backyard.
It's currently pouring rain.
I did not wear a raincoat when I came out here.
Or proper shoes.
Or bring an umbrella.
Does this mean I have to stay in here and actually work until it stops raining?

I remember when having a "date night" didn't require frantically arranging a sitter (with a grandma on standby in case of cancellation) and a reservation no later than 5:30pm because we have to be home by bath time.

*realizes I should actually post something over here so my feed doesn't look so sad and empty*
*tries to think of something witty to say*
*has nothing except stories about blowout diapers and toddler vomit*
*gives you this instead*
...you're welcome?
And thanks for the congrats. It's been a wild, exhausting, diaper-filled few years and I'm fairly certain both of them are already smarter than me. Good thing they're cute. ;)
15 *minutes*. Yes, that sounds much more accurate. And 1999 was only 10 years ago, correct?
Not sure how that could add up to you having a FOURTH grader already--but I'm sure that's just because I do words, not numbers. *nods*
And that's so cute! Kid readers are the best!
Okay, I'm seeing this SUPER late (my social media skills aren't what they used to be now that I have tiny humans who expect me to feed them and play with them and stuff) but HOW WAS THAT 15 YEARS AGO??? Nope. Can't be. Must be 15 months, right?
Okay, I guess I'm here now, too. Not sure how to get verified on here yet, but this is me.
