Fortunately it looks like its gets ever so slightly warmer for you!

It feels dodgy driving up there some days so definitely can see why it was a problem flying it occasionally!
My inner av-geek feels compelled to say it was a B-29, not B-52.
And yeah, the ground can be challenging up that way :D
Have a lovely time, and I hope it's warmer than here given the itinerary!
I'd get more but I need a bigger house first.
Seeing who didn't make the cut would be absolutely wild.
NASA seemingly putting a somewhat enraged chimpanzee in charge of switching between different cameras for the feed didn't help.
More Cleaners than just Enablers
It looks like it's having a really tricky and stubborn proper knee trembler of a dump.
Perhaps he thought the potential level of sycophancy might've made him uncomfortable and decided to swerve it?
Next pitch = our nightly fireworks are more spectacular than Disneyland's.
Just as well they're not needed as we aren't sending one to the Med for their benefit anyway.
Don't get me wrong, the sentient wotsit is full of crap. PoW isn't going to join the war anyway, if it deploys it'll be to deal with the mess its creates from the Med. Also they didn't exactly rush into either World War. They did however help a chunk with the Falklands, albeit slightly indirectly.
They did a noticeable bit to be fair, albeit not direct military assistance. The Harriers on Invincible/Hermes turned up with fast-tracked better versions of Sidewinder out of US inventory for one thing.
Also, probably not the best country to be lecturing people about turning up late for wars (not that the HMS Prince of Wales deployment is actually 'joining the war' anyway as it'll be going to the Med and not the Persian Gulf).
Would.
You can hardly blame anyone for not wanting to keep him.
I always had the plan to find some high ground near a primary target and to turn up with beer, some decent tunes, a packet of fags and obviously sunglasses.
That poor mutt has seen things
Very handy for plugging the toaster in.
Yeah it has its place, but it definitely also has its flaws.
Exactly how I see it. It reminds me of a junior I was mentoring years back who'd sometimes decide the best course of action was a massive refactor for a fixable bug. Just because you could eventually do something a certain way, don't automatically assume you should.
It does greatly amuse me though that it'll suggest some complete crap with absolute confidence and then heartily agree 'yes, of course that won't work' the moment you point out its complete crap.
I use it as a muse or to answer very specific coding issues. It is however like a particularly eager green-behind-the-ears intern who will go down some rabbit hole with great enthusiasm if you let it. I (quite) literally have to tell it sometimes 'this seems a crap way' and start over.
A bit like President Xi having about 3 clubs then.
Even on the rare occasion we won under Amorim it was seldom aesthetically pleasing enough to warrant a repeat watch. I'd just take the sense of relief and another weekend not ruined and move forward with life.
I avoided MotD for that long I didn't even know what time it started these days.
Never realised he was a Red.
Condolences
When I was doing uni viewings circa 91-92 there was definitely one somewhere at Sheffield Uni
