My writing goals for 2026:
Finish a big revision on my play
Do draft 2 of my novel without stalling out on revisions due to overwhelm
Most importantly:
Take it slow and steady, but with direction. Find a routine and process that makes real progress, in real steps, on my own timeline. #WriteCBC

If we don't hit our goal (which is looking increasingly likely), we cannot make season two.
Even if you can't donate, a share or review goes so far. This is a project Fio and I are so proud of, and we really want to see it through to the end.
Season one is already available for free online!
More story! In one of my fave stories! Sign me up!
Congrats! Incredible achievement
Have taken on the mad task of writing part of one of my plays in metre. It’s hard! Most of all, it’s hard to know how to check your work-I THINK it’s metrical, but is it…. #writing #playwriting #metre #poetry
This is such a mood, mine is a fan Doctor who audio
But I can’t start it yet! I need to let the thing rest. What do I do until then….
It’s finally happened. After an indeterminate number of years, many many crying fits, and a 5k writing day, my first draft is done. Now what do I do with my life? #writing
One more pic to share from #BigFinishDay Narvin and a very crowded Tardis! It was so lovely to see the Narvinettes out in force & to meet a few new #Gallifrey fans. Hope you all had a fab day ❤️ #DoctorWho @bigfinish.bsky.social
My favourite advice, after percolating? “Every problem is an opportunity” Nick briggs, via Lizzie hopley. Unlocked something in my current project, and super helpful for mindset
Had a great time at #bigfinishday. Finally met Sean carlsen, saw @witforgecat.bsky.social after ages, saw many Narvins, and heard great tips from @lisamcmullin.bsky.social and the other BF writers! Will definitely be back(hopefully on the other side one day!)
That’s totally fair! I think the high-concept was part of what I loved about it. That and the many layers of detail
You got feedback? I’ve never heard of that, I assumed it was a workload thing
I now have processed that episode enough to say it-WOW, Inua Ellams! So much to admire in the storytelling. I want to take lessons in that #doctorwho
No one warns you about the part of writing that involves getting stuck in a months-long mental quagmire.
I’ve always got the date in my calendar. Great fun to stretch the ideas part of the brain, even if you don’t win! Plus, try out Doctor Who🥰
Sometimes my ADHD is like running against an elastic band. You can fight to stay at the edges of its tolerance, but eventually it always springs you back to the beginning again
@daraobriain.bsky.social I can’t believe the thing of yours that’s stuck in my head the most is seeing a nutritionist mentioned and thinking “DIETICIAN is the protected term”
@witforgecat.bsky.social LOOK!
Sometimes ADHD means you fly through writing thousands of words in a day. Sometimes it means you spend weeks bashing your head on a metaphorical brick wall. Guess which today is #writingcommunity
An unfortunate mood. I’m in a terrible writing slump at the minute, and the cycle of it can really sap your confidence! Glad you’re getting it back though. We’ll get there!
One of my first designs. I was too eager to start this one hence the unusual fabric choice!

At a party given by a billionaire on Shelter Island, Kurt Vonnegut informs his pal, Joseph Heller, that their host, a hedge fund manager, had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his wildly popular novel Catch-22 over its whole history. Heller responds, "Yes, but I have something he will never have enough."
With a bunch of douchebro loser billionaires in the news every day lately, this story has been on my mind almost daily.
through gritted teeth: my first draft is allowed to be awful
Mine: the current one, selkie wip
Dual timeline ancient Egyptian/dark academia that was my first ever book
Dual storyline Swan Lake retelling/company performing it
Coming out as Greek tragedy play
Sci fi scavenger hunt across the galaxy
Just a lot of sad women wandering around the Scottish countryside. At least in pride and prejudice there’s houses. 1 star.
based on a reddit writing prompt, felt like sharing haha #writingcommunity
“Become a librarian,” the book whispered.
“What do you think I’m doing here?” replied the librarian. The book did not whisper. It screamed as it was taken from a dusty nest under the bed and put in its proper place.
“Don’t let me catch you rearranging yourself again. Next time, I won’t be so nice.”
Watched Dracula 1992 last night, not impressed. I know all Dracula adaptations are pretty far from the book, but that really chose a theme and stuck with it, huh. Loved the camp, didn’t love Dracula/Mina love story #dracula
That new Lady Gaga song Disease is an absolute stone cold BANGER and I will not be taking questions at this time
