Some people work and save all their life and never build a net worth like that. Now Trump is doling out $1M+ to his friends and allies, paid for by taxpayers.

This needs to be litigated.

So the one done by state legislators is no big deal but the one done by popular vote of citizens is a "power grab". Make that make sense.

Man facing federal charges after allegedly brandishing gun at Nashville ‘No Kings’ rally now facing child porn charges The Murfreesboro man was charged federally in June 2025 in connection with an incident at a rally in Nashville.

There seems to be a certain commonality with Trump supporters.

I subscribe to WP. Might be time to ditch that. The double standard is a bit too much.

That criteria is as open ended as could possibly be. Basically anyone you want to deport, you can. Just call them a socialist. Done deal.

It's inconceivable to me that in a nation of about 350 million people, some expect that everyone should be just like them, and everyone who's not needs to go.

We started seeing these in Davidson Co (Nashville) TN a few weeks ago. They look and sound very official and convincing. Even after warning people at my company (I do security training) we had someone fall for it.

Frustrating and aggravating that we have a tenacious scam economy today.

Speaking for myself and maybe millions of others, I'm really very tired of the attention economy and the people who will say anything to get their name in the mentions and increase their follower count.

He's one of them. Hard pass.

I'd be interested in seeing the peer reviewed study he's obtained that statistic from.

I'll wait.

And be waiting a long time.

Sadly, I think that ship sailed in 2012 when Republican's response to the murder of 20 children at their school was that they needed to protect gun manufacturers and not children.

The things election deniers have said (Eastman, Clark, Giuliani, Powell) are always delivered with bravado and certitude and inevitably fall apart under scrutiny. You can expect the same here.

I usually make a long to-do list for the weekends, and usually don't get all of it done. It's because of this guy. He never wants to be anywhere but laying on me.

I don't have the heart to make him get up.

Because one day, he won't be here anymore, and I'll wish we had more lap time. ❤️

I'm starting to get the sense that Donald Trump isn't really very good at deal making. 😆

I remember when this was current, and thinking I'll never look that good in a suit. Obama crushed it. And the future MAGAs just couldn't handle it.

I've said it before. Trump's ostentatious blasphemy is a loyalty test. Trump or God? Trump or your faith? In Hannity he's getting the only answer he expected.

NEW: When Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election, the institutional guardrails of American democracy held.

But if faced with the same tests today, those barriers — and people who held the line — would largely be missing.

Because of Trump, spineless Republicans in Congress, and the anarcho-libertarian billionaires who don't live in the real world, much less live with the consequences of their actions, the US is operating like a broke ass third world country instead of the wealthiest nation in the world.

the basic theory of DOGE was that if powerful people said it was fine it didn’t matter what the law said.

I think proving that theory wrong is worth significant effort

What the super rich have that the rest of us don't is the ability to manipulate policy to their favor, and in the absence of that, to circumvent policy as they wish.

Trump has seen how things are done in the most corrupt and lawless countries on earth and says, "Let's do that."

I've said this before and still believe it's true, Alito isn't about to resign. He is far too drunk on the power that having a seat on SCOTUS gives him. He's not about to give that up. Same for Thomas. They both love the power to make their personal views the law of the land.
