TRIBALISM IS NOT THE ANSWER. EMPATHY JUST MIGHT BE. Fear and insecurity cause us to retreat and seek shelter with our “people.” But tribalism won’t guide us to real, lasting solutions.

My latest post on Substack is about how to navigate the need to feel part of a tribe or community while still embracing empathy for those we disagree with. It’s not easy, but it certainly feels necessary in these times.
