If it’s a task that is recurring, I sometimes will start a stopwatch to see how much time it actually takes and keep it listed somewhere in my phone that way my brain can see how long it actually takes and then I tell myself to just start it for at least 2-5 minutes next time I’m procrastinating.
Watched Pulp Fiction for the first time this weekend, and it was wild hearing a reference to the Western actor Lash LaRue bc that’s where my grandfather and father got their middle names from… I was also supposed to be a LaRue, but my mom hated that name unfortunately.

Was in Columbia last weekend for my bff’s wedding! We were roommates all 4 years of undergrad while navigating coming out and being gay at a Southern Baptist university. We have always and still jokingly call each other Roommate as a nickname, which was funny to explain to people at his wedding.
My best friend and his husband got married today, and their intro song was a piano version of the Animal Crossing theme song and the rings were in a bell pouch.
