I know that ad hominem is technically a logical fallacy, but it’s also an excellent shorthand for filtering out the worst people and saving yourself time and energy.

If the worst person you know has an excellent point to make, it’s probably also been made by someone kinder and more intelligent.

The Joco cruise (Jonathan Coultan, the guy who wrote ReBrains Code Monkey and song from Portal 2) is one of most nerd friendly and queer friendly experiences Ive had, its basically a floating week long convention where 2 trans comedians had morning show each day and every bathroom was all gender.

Live One Piece is practically a miracle. Everything is on how great the cast chemistry is but that have so many great practical sets as well. It’s crazy accurate without being copy paste, its just amazing how well it works!

Fine, we dont need the ‘watching animation without a child gives me cooties’ crowd. Also amazing this is only coming up in the 'we actually have to watch every movie' year, easy to ‘catch up’ when you could just see Frozen and phone it in.
