This is really great FREE programme open to girls all across the UK. Please share with any young people you know who are interested in computer science!
Wow, I didn't think they could last that long! Thanks for the info - this will hopefully be my next project to tinker with!
Apologies if you are asked this all the time, but how do you make these prints stable? Or do they inevitably start to fade over time? Love your work!
So exciting to win, but moreso an honor to share a stage with so many amazing people!
Excellent management - thanks for a great event!
Thanks!
I was imagining being on dragons den and pitching a new alternative to lab gloves but made from sodium alginate.
Completely surprised and overwhelmed to have won this award, and join an amazing list of previous champions.
On my way to the #BIGEvent2025 at @ri-science.bsky.social, perhaps the only conference it's perfectly normal to bring a blender with you to... @big-stem-network.bsky.social
An amazing, BUSY day!
We're live at #LambethCountryShow! Come and say hello and try out some ph painting and make an algorithmic keyring. Find us in the discovery zone! @kingsnmes.bsky.social

It was really fun to run this activity - it led to some really suprising discussions about what it means to be human, and the surprising importance of the word poop!
Amazing work! There was a patch of these growing up the valley from where I used to live in the Swiss Alps - amazing to know its back growing here too.
Today in STEM outreach - reusing my clothes dryers and ladder to make a mass red cabbage indicator paper factory.
Thanks to @aiatkings.bsky.social for organising a fantastic festival of events! The research paper our minimal turing test activity was based on is well worth a read:

Great family day at the @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social Festival of AI! Children tried a mini turing test, choosing one word to prove they are human. Of course skibidi appeared! We also built a simple image recognition AI, which detected drawings of cats and (sometimes) dogs. @kingsnmes.bsky.social
Inspiring to hear from students succeeding in life thanks to this amazing scholarship programme!

Come and join me at The Ri for a fun journey through the history of science, and meet some amazing scientists you maybe don't know about!
I'll also be signing books after the event (which feels like a WILD sentence to write π€£).
Celebrate World Environment Day with me and some fab author friends! Book your class in for this FREE online event; I'll be introducing you to some of the amazing scientists you can meet in my new book 'The Hidden Heroes of Science'.

So excited to receive this grant, and be able to support running our Girl's Robotics Challenge for another year! I was blown away by the amazing robots the teams built this year and the creative problem solving on display.
Cant wait to see what our 2025/6 cohort of students achieve!
I have never felt older than this afternoon, when I had to explain to a university student how blue tack works π
Niche design moment today - excited too see the colourful stickers TFL have used to cover up the 'ghost' on the Elizabeth Line! Smart way to cover up dirty marks left by people cumulatively over the years π
Thanks!
