I can see why people liked it. It's really nice to see indie horror get the attention it deserves.

The Substance (2024) Another first time watch. Another movie with a lot of hype attached. Having a difficult time connecting with Ms. Sparkle. So much self loathing. Perhaps they just haven't had the "save the cat" moment yet.
I appreciate the ambiguous ending. Decent movie, more convoluted than it needed to be. Doubt I'll revisit it.
An hour and 30 minutes in and all the major characters are introduced. Still impressed with the cast. At this point, I'm enjoying a creative heist movie with a twist.
Inception (2010) First time watch. Only 30 minutes in. So far, I'm impressed with the cast and not all of the primary characters have even been introduced yet! Let's see what the next 30 minutes bring...
Movie #15 of my 2025 31-Days of Horror: Zombies of the Living Dead (2015) It was a bad movie and I liked it!

Movie #14 of my 2025 31-Days of Horror Book of the Dead (2024) Did I like it or not? Both.

Oops, forgot the lonk! intheaudience.net?p=3424
Movie #13 of my 2025 31-Days of Horror: Fortress of the Dead (1965) Is it PTSD or ghosts? Or both? Regardless, it must be Fate.
Movie #12 of my 2025 31-Days of Horror: Cave of the Living Dead (1964) Vampires!

Right!!!
Movie #11 of my 2025 31-Days of Horror: Art of the Dead (2019) Whether the art is a "masterpiece" is certainly debatable. Especially since few seem to remember the artist. Likely how the movie will go, too.
Movie #10 of the 2025 31-Days of Horror: Night of the Dead Sorority Babes (2025) An 80s-style film, but now.
I've always liked this one.
Oh no! Hope you feel better soon!
Movie #9 of my 2025 31-Days of Horror: Aquarium of the Dead (2021) Oh, Asylum! As much as I enjoyed the zombie marine animals, I wanted more zombie fish!

Movie #8 of the 2025 31-Days of Horror: Knight of the Dead (2013). Slow burn and a lot of missed potential.

Movie #7 of the 2025 31-Days of Horror: Synthwave Horror: Night of the Living Dead (2025) I was hoping for a little... more. Shrug.

Movie #6 of the 2025 31-Days of Horror: Garden of the Dead (1972) Prisoners on a chain gang sniff formaldehyde and bad things happen. Oh, and it's a Troma flick.
Movie #5 of the 2025 31-Days of Horror, Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead. This is totally gonzo.

Movie #4 of the 2025 31-Days of Horror is Dawn of the Living Dead (2007). Not to be confused with the Romero masterpiece. This was a rough watch.

Movie #3 for the 2025 31-Days of Horror is Zone of the Dead. You need to ask yourself whether Ken Foree starring in a zombie film is enough to make it good.

This is why horror is my favorite genre.
Movie #2 in my 31 days of horror is Hell of the Living Dead (1980), a film that was famously intended to be a rip off of Dawn of the Dead.

For this yearβs 31-Days of Horror challenge, I'm doing an "of the dead" theme. Of course, to kick it off, I watched the OG, Night of the Living Dead (1968). intheaudience.net?p=3340
It's a classic Creature Features night! So far, I've watched The Lady and the Monster (1944), The Maze (1953), and The Trollenberg Terror (1957).
Hello Indianapolis! I've got my list, my number/paddle, my coffee, and I'm ready for the Circle City Aquarium Club auction.
Not sure if Troma made changes. They sometimes do. It would be fun to watch and compare.
The copy I purchased is a digital download that, for some reason, I had saved on a micro SD on an old phone. It was available for download purchase for a little bit while the film was on the festival circuit. I think I bought and downloaded it while I was at some film fest.
