I still love the show, that will never change. Anyways during this gap, I’m finally going to write my “years in the making” fan-season into some kind of book or something on AO3, mainly to remind myself of how much I love the world of the show. So yeah stayed tuned for updates I guess?

6. The show might be best served by taking a break for a while. If a Season 3 ends with a regeneration and RTD stepping down that’s great and the show should continue. But if RTD insists on staying in his position, I think the show should be put on ice until a fresh spark revives it like RTD in 05.
4. Season 2 was ultimately a great season of Doctor Who. I enjoyed every episode up to Reality War in multiple ways.
5. I don’t blame Ncuti one bit for leaving. He clearly loves the show but as a young star, waiting a year or more for Season 3 just isn’t going to work out for his career.
3. RTD, step down and let fresh blood take over. RTD has locked the fuck in for individual episodes over the last 2 years (Wild Blue Yonder, 73 Yards, Rogue, Lux) but his overarching plots feel like he’s smashing action figures together whilst juggling. He should step down and become a guest writer.
2. Billie is an amazing actor, but if we get a special in 2026 I hope this is some kind of problem this “Bad Wolf Doctor” needs to solve to properly regenerate. If this isn’t what happens, I’m perfectly ok to watch her 16th Doctor for a season.
Given that we’re now 3 days removed from the Season 2 finale I want to give my thoughts on everything surrounding Doctor Who at the moment.
1. Reality War is not in the slightest good overall, but there was some good moments within it that bump it up to ok. Mainly 13’s cameo

Unironically a great idea to revive the IP
For Sunshine, having completed it on the All Stars collection, FLUDD is why the game still has the one of the best movement systems in any platformer and Isle Delfino is an amazing setting. However, the game does fall off slightly in the second half and those bosses are rough.
Depends on what you prefer.
As someone who’s first major console was the switch, it’s Odyssey all the way; but I can see its flaws. For example, some of the moons are insanely tedious or straight up cruel to collect.
I’d agree that it’s a deviation from the formula the series has followed, but I’ll be damned if it still isn’t one of the best games on switch
GOTY this year was a dead-heat between Balatro and Astro-Bot. I love both games to death, and really hoped we were in a timeline where a tie was possible. Sony please take this as a sign to fund studios like ASOBI and also let them make the games they want.
Gonna go replay Astro-Bot now.
