Cleaning my garage, I came across my still in original box set of Jarts, the Yard Dart game. They are illegal now. I can't sell them. One or two children were killed by these dangerous toys, and Congress, in its great wisdom, reasoned that it was best to completely ban the manufacture, use, and sale

If a Trans fetus can be identified, then what further proof do they need that they are born that way? That one does not choose to be Transexual, they just are? Have they not read any sci-fi? That path leads to oppression, destruction, and death. Just let people be!
Hard YES! 10 episodes is not a season! Greedy-ass-fucking-studio-heads don't understand what "story" means, what "character development" means, what fucking Fandom means! Fuck em! Fuck em all!
Whew, sorry about that. Got a wee bit agitated for a moment.
The greatest truths are found in works of fiction
Was his brain squirming like a toad?
I've long wondered: if Geordi's visor "sees" through infrared and other spectrum, how does he see what's on a viewscreen? The images do not project individual heat sources, but the screen runs at constant temperature, suggesting that he would see nothing but a blank rectangle
It is a profound irony when the nation under attack feels more empathy for the attacker's citizens than the attacking government itself.
I was there and I saw what you did, I saw it with my own two eyes, so wrote off that grin, I know where you've been, it's all been a pack of lies...
I was 13. It was glorious.
I just saw that one on COZY TV. I had no idea he was so young when he directed big stars
Not only 6 seasons, but ~24 episodes per season. I hate this 10 episode/season shit. Not near enough time to develop any characters beyond 2 dimensions. I despise what streaming has done to television.
Thone who claim the 2nd Amendment gives us the right to bear arms in order to protect our Freedoms from being endangered by a tyrannical government seem incapable of recognizing when our Freedoms are being endangered by a tyrannical government. HINT: There is a tyrant in the Office of the President
I wish we lived in the time line where Jimmy Carter won his second term, and the solar panels on the white house led a solar/ wind power revolution and America prospered. Instead we got trickle down economy and a huge cut in taxes for the wealthy, and the path that led to... this ๐ซฉ
I only use homemade cannabutter for all my (limited) cooking. My iron skillet is seasoned with it. It keeps me sane in these insane times.
May i also suggest Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, March 29 (maybe 22nd) episode about Orban and how he got there. While he never mentions Trump, the subtext screams his name. Oliver lays it all out clearly, concisely, and with humor.
Yes! And one of the many reasons it was so great was because there were 24 episodes per season. 24! Nowadays a season is 8 or 10 episodes. And we're lucky if they even have a 2nd season, and if it does, it takes 2 years before they film it! I hate the very bastard who make these stupid decisions
Call it STFU Starfleet University
I saw Priest when I was a teenager in the late 70s, at least 6 times in San Antonio. At no time did we ever wonder about his sexuality. It never occurred to us who he had sex with. When I learned in the mid-80s that Rob was gay, it changed nothing. His voice was still incredible, their music was ๐ฅ
My favorite Star Trek episode, of any series, and this clip is one of the reasons why. @melindas.bsky.social understood what Star Trek was really about: not phasers or teleporters or spaceships, but about the philosophies of life, liberty, equality, diversity, and inclusion. The best Sci-fi does.
I rarely read non-fiction. Whatever the topic, there is always a bias, or an agenda, that warps the truth to the author's perception. Fiction, I believe (at least when well done) changes the reader's perceptions to see the truth. As I have long said: The greatest Truths are found in works of Fiction
If you say it loudly and often, some will believe it. Many have. And here we are
Saw it when I was 12 years old, at an Air Force base theater. Changed my life. It introduced me to the power of music. I bought the studio album shortly after, and it didn't leave my turntable for 6 months.
Have you looked at Gov Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM)? Free child care is now LAW. Perhaps Rep Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) might change your mind. I am disappointed that Sen Heinrich (D-NM) voted for Markwayne Mullin to lead DHS. He has lost my support. New Mexico is a great blue state.
The Confederacy broke away from America and then declared war against America. We do not celebrate our enemies. But now, the enemies are in the People's House, ruining roughshod over the Constitution. Fuck the traitors.
Two seasons my butt! 10 episodes does not a season make. 20 episodes isn't even a full season. TOS and TNG did 24 episodes/season, as did DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise. One cannot develop a complex character in 10 episodes, much less an entire cast of complex characters. Don't normalize short seasons
In seven years, no one had the temerity to ask Data if he had ever dreamed of electric sheep.
Dude, I'm in my 60s now. About 7 years ago or so, I discovered Cubase Lite or whatever it was called. I got into it, and told my friend and former drummer about it. Together, we started recording the songs that I wrote and some songs that he had written "back then". Check the link in my bio
I wrote my best stuff when I knew a few guitar chords, and had some rhythm. I didn't study music, I knew no theory. I taught myself more chords. Because I wasn't good at playing cover songs, I chose to wrote my own. A lot of people liked my songs, and I started a band many times. The music is inside
Guitars! Not Guns!
Be a Drummer, not a Gunner!
Bassists, not Bullets!
