Yo glad that comes through! A lot of my early art had full saturation on everything, but these days I try to hold most colors back so those magics can soak up all the saturation X) Anyway much appreciated! ^^

Yeah, when it comes to actually making something, I mainly just go with what feels right, and trust that any studying will guide my instinct.

But if it helps, I put together an example of how I might focus colors:

Oh thank you! I gotta credit the commissioner for this one - they managed to picture the whole palette even just in text form 🤯
But if I can offer a tip, it'd be to avoid spreading colors too evenly. No matter how many or few colors you use, giving each one a focal point seems easier to read. 👍

Ah thank you very much!🥰Yeah, I figured for an environment-heavy piece, it seemed worthwhile to go beyond just a suggestion of detail and fill them in to let the eye wander a bit. So thanks for wandering a bit ^^

PS: you might notice some curious similarities with my latest Halloween piece…100% just a coincidence😅 Unbeknownst to the commissioner, I happened to start working on them at the same time, but the inspirations for each piece were totally unrelated (besides both being cool ^x^)
